Prices are all over the place, but this seems very reasonable for its condition .

I had the chance to buy my family’s NA last year for ch eap, but it needed a lot of work. I’d rather have an S2000, but there’s no chance of finding one of those at an affordable price.

Anyway, I don’t feel like getting a loan on a 30-year-old car, so this will remain an unfulfilled fantasy, but I’ll definitely be thinking about it.

Of course, this much newer one is available, much closer to me, for the same price. Great color, too.

I saw a (admittedly high mileage) early 90s NA for sale for $1500 a few weeks ago. Didn’t last long obviously. Still say that NA is overpriced, though. The NB is nice though.

No. Deduct at least $1500 - only able to ask that much given its minty condition surrounded by rusted out carcasses in the Midwest.

I just bought a 1999 with similar mileage, impeccable service, zero rust and a hardtop for less.

I definitely want to go Jeep shopping in Washington (state) someday. Pickings are so damned limited here compared to less-rusty areas.

Show me proof of water pump and cam seals done with timing belt and we'll talk. But that's only np if you want an NA. Get a heck of an NB for that price. I'll trade pop ups for a bigger engine with vvt all day

Oh, NBs are going to be a better value across the board at this point. They haven't started rising. Yet...

As someone who is currently like $7 k into a $900 NA Miata, I would say NP. I’m going for roughly a full restoration but it’s still a long way’s off. Had I started with a nicer car (like that one) it would save a lot of money. I don’t think people realize that the difference between a $1500 NA and a $5000 NA is actually like $9k.

I took a prime NB example off the market for a steal of a price. It is going to be the canyon, autocross and primarily track toy. Goodwin Racing, Supermiata and Flyin Miata goodies incoming.

I felt a few moments of remorse in thinking it could be flipped for more $$ or retire to easy sunday cruises with an older owner. Nahhhhhhhhh...

Ft. Wayne...   I wonder how the Missus would react if I came home one afternoon this week in a 30 YO car..  of course,  the surprise wouldn't be there, it'd be when she got notice of the withdrawal from the bank and my saying its legit..

Nah, I wouldn’t have to sleep in it...

I’d buy one of those hammock tent things you tie off to a couple of trees, problem solved. ;-)
